Happy Halloween from Selkirk Elementary! The students (and staff) had a fun day. The building was full of goblins, witches, princesses, unicorns, army men, Minecraft figures, and Harry Potter wizards. We even had a chicken! The staff celebrated with a blast from the past - a Wizard of Oz theme complete with the Mayor of Munchkin City, a Wicked Witch (or two), the Emerald City doorman, Glinda, Auntie Em, the lion, Tin Man, and few scarecrows, a flying monkey, a couple of bricks of the Yellow Brick Road! We hope everyone has a safe and fun Halloween evening!
October 30, 2023 - We texted and emailed all Selkirk Elementary parents this afternoon regarding a possible safety issue at school. If you are an elementary parent or guardian and did NOT receive a text or an email, please contact the school to insure that we have your information entered correctly into our system. Actions taken were precautionary and in the end there was no threat, however, it was a good drill for our students and staff plus an opportunity to work out issues with notification. Thank you!
